Discovering Freedom in Art: My Passion for Abstract Expressionism
I'm thrilled to share with you my abstract expressionist art technique. It's a process that is truly personal and unique to me, and I love the way it allows me to express my innermost thoughts and emotions on the canvas.
I start by letting my instincts guide me as I make marks on the canvas. It's a liberating feeling to just let go and allow my creativity to flow freely without overthinking the process. I love the way the colors blend and bleed into each other, creating unexpected textures and patterns.
As I continue to layer color upon color, I start to see a composition emerge. It's like watching a puzzle come together, piece by piece, until I find the perfect balance. Sometimes it happens quickly and effortlessly, and other times it takes time and patience to find the right combination of colors and textures.
I'm constantly inspired by the vibrancy of color and the way it can convey so much emotion and depth. I love experimenting with different combinations of neutral and bright colors, creating a unique and dynamic visual experience.
For me, the process of creating abstract expressionist art is all about tapping into my innermost thoughts and emotions and allowing them to come to life on the canvas.
Let me share with you two examples of my abstract expressionist art style.
TWO ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISM PAINTINGS:
SUMMER AFTERNOON – green and calming artwork on canvas
The first painting is titled "Summer Afternoon". This painting is all about the feeling of a lazy summer afternoon spent basking in the sun. It's full of different green hues and tones, with touches of black, white, pink, yellow, and blue, to bring those summer vibes to life. This painting is a perfect addition to any modern classic home, bringing a sense of calm and relaxation to any room. The beauty of this artwork is in the details, with different acrylic and some oil brands and mark making techniques used to create a stunning and unique texture on the canvas. It's on gallery wrapped canvas and ready to hang, bringing the essence of summer into your home all year long.
When I was creating "Summer Afternoon", I drew inspiration from one of the greats of abstract expressionism, Jackson Pollock. I was particularly inspired by his drip and drop technique, which I incorporated into my own style to create a painting that feels alive and happy. The different green hues and tones of this painting are like the foliage on a summer day, with touches of other colors like black, white, pink, yellow, and blue, bringing a sense of warmth and relaxation to the canvas.
I wanted to capture the essence of a perfect summer afternoon - calm, peaceful, and full of joy. And I think this painting does just that. It's like a celebration of life, with the vibrancy of the colors conveying a sense of happiness and contentment. This painting is a perfect addition to any space that wants to evoke the essence of a perfect summer afternoon, whether it's in a home or office setting.
The incorporation of Jackson Pollock's technique of drip and drop colors into my own style gave me the freedom to experiment and create a unique texture and pattern on the canvas. It's a wonderful feeling to let go and allow the creativity to flow freely, just like a summer day. This painting is truly a celebration of life and all its beauty, a perfect addition to any art collection.
FIRST LOVE – bright and energetic abstract piece with mix of colors, feelings and emotions on canvas
The second painting is titled "First Love". It's a vibrant and exciting piece that captures the feeling of falling in love for the first time. I used a lot of bright and bold colors to convey the energy and positive vibes of this emotion, incorporating patterns and contrasting colors to create a dynamic and engaging visual experience. This painting is all about joy, love, and the excitement of new beginnings.
This painting is all about the special feeling that comes with first love. It's a feeling that is unforgettable, one that we all experience at some point in our lives. I wanted to capture this unique emotion on the canvas, to let my memories of my own first love be the inspiration for this work of art.
To create "First Love," I used mixed media techniques and approached the painting in an intuitive way. I wanted this piece to be a focal point in any room, one that would bring happiness to the viewer and evoke beautiful memories of their own first love. I used bright and vibrant colors like pink, yellow, black, grey, white, and touches of blue and orange to create a sense of energy and excitement. It's a painting that exudes positivity and love, a true celebration of life.
The first love experience is one-of-a-kind, like no other love in our lives. It's a feeling that brings a mix of emotions, from happiness and excitement to tears and heartbreak. And I wanted to capture all of those emotions through my colors. I hope that when you look at this painting, you can feel the energy and excitement that comes with first love. It's a piece that is perfect for any space that wants to bring joy and positivity, whether it's an eclectic home style or a contemporary modern home.
In conclusion, "First Love" is a painting that celebrates the unique and unforgettable feeling of first love. It's a one-of-a-kind experience that we all have, and I wanted to capture it on the canvas. Through my use of vibrant colors and mixed media techniques, I hope to evoke beautiful memories and bring happiness to anyone who views this piece.
