I’m Marisol Evora, a contemporary abstract artist living and painting by the Mediterranean.
Beauty, colour and the pleasure of being surrounded by what I love are a big part of my life. The light here, the music, the warmth, the people… naturally, some of it finds its way into my paintings.
I follow my intuition. Unexpected combinations often lead somewhere interesting, while harmony brings everything together. There comes a point when it simply feels right, and that’s when I know.
Each painting has its own character. And perhaps the most beautiful part is what happens between the painting and the person who chooses it. We may see the same piece differently, connect with it for completely different reasons, and that’s exactly what makes art so personal.
My work has been exhibited in galleries and art fairs across the US, Europe, Hong Kong and Japan, and is held in private collections around the world.
